In this project, i used my knowledge of 3d rendering/modeling software (rhino) to create a blueprint for a laser cutter. The laser cutter then very neatly sliced through the yupo paper to create each piece i needed to sew together my forms. Portal required a lot more planning, ideating, and math than i am used to using while creating my personal or professional artwork. I love the final product and the experience i gained through using new digital software along side 3d materials.
