Interwoven is an expansion of my knowledge of woodworking. Previously, I had only assisted in the production of larger functional wooden projects, so creating something intimate and abstract was a creative stretch for me. my old major was fashion design where I learned the different types of fabrics weaves which i then used in this form. There are different weaves demonstrated throughout this work including plain weaves, twill weaves, and satin weaves.
