Lucas Oil's upper cylinder lubricant & injector cleaner bottle needed a complete makeover. At a glance, the previous design was too chaotic and cluttered. Using a minimal amount of color and creating a cohesive palette made the bottle more approachable and attractive. One typeface was chosen for the main body copy and logo but occasionally a clean script typeface is used to add interest. The previous design needed a clear hierarchy so the redesign made sure to prioritize the most important information. The last thing that needed to be changed was the logo. The new logo was modernized and simplified to look clean and attractive while still honoring the values and traditional design of the previous logo.
