Every year, at the Indiana State Fair, the blue ribbon winning recipes from the previous year are copied into a cookbook for fairgoers to purchase. This year, I was responsible for the cover art and the copying of all of the past winning recipes. For the cover, I wanted to create a homey and kitschy aesthetic while still providing a modern design style.
